A well decorated auxillary centaurian flying his own banner for the first time after the departure of the Roman Empire from Britain. The birth of a myth in the mist.What started a a sketch became a mission to make something that gleamed and breathed and projected from the canvas. A story of a man historians assume to be a likely origin candidate for the legend/myth of King Arthur. No king, but a Welsh Bear Prince, Arth/Artos Maglos circa 500 AD. In this artwork, I aim for the essence of valor and timelessness, brushing life into a majestic symbol of strength and honor. Oil hues dance across the canvas, manifesting a scene where realism marries the mystical. It’s not just a painting; it’s a whispered tale of chivalry—its spirit ready to resonate through the walls of your home, infusing it with an ageless, noble aura.

“The Fair One” of Norse mythology, Freyja is a goddess associated with love, sexuality, beauty, fertility, seiðr (Norse magic), gold, fine possessions, war, and death. She is a passionate seeker after pleasures and thrills. Accompanied by two blue cats that can change in size and pull Her chariot at times. Proudly wearing the magical necklace Brísingamen. She also dons a cloak of falcon feathers that enables her to fly. In this oil painting, I’ve delved into the realm of the symbolic and metaphysical, capturing a moment of intense emotional fury and divine choice amid chaos. The figures portray an epic struggle, a conflict of belief, invoking the powerful energy of myth. This artwork weaves a narrative of conflict and transcendence, sure to imbue any space with a sense of enigmatic profundity and fiery passion.
